Have you noticed in René Knip's dining room the Bufferlamp designed by Wieki Somers for Pols Potten? You can view here Pols potten's catalogue. The brand created in 1986 is dedicated  to artists, designers and producers.The flagship store is located in Amsterdam on KNSM-eiland  in an old warehouse where many years ago, the Royal Dutch Steamboats Society stored its coffee and cocoa beans. Wieki Somers'lamp is instrumental in making us feeling safe and confident. Its golden lustre glaze generates a peculiar perimeter, creating a house inside the house and reminding us of some forgotten fairy tales of our childhood when the  lost hero  begins to see some light glittering in the dusk.
