Berlin Gallerist Karena Schuessler defines herself as a collector, first and foremost. "Collectors', she says 'are like squirrels, they endlessly need to find out and stock stuff." It is what she has been doing for years and the result is spectacular. If you attentively observe the pictures, you may see original works by designers and artists Jean Prouvé, Ettore Sottsass, Charles Eames, Hans Wegner, Carl Auböck, Jacques Jarrige, Garrouste & Bonetti, Gabriel Vormstein, Thomas Löcher, Thomas Grünfels, Sabine Fassi... Design art is what she is promoting in her berliner functional art gallery.
